Dog Holiday 2015 (Pawt 1)

We Stayed at Upper Sign Farm House for our annual Dog Holiday .

We all enjoyed a big breakfast.

The first adventure was to go to Elan Valley.

It looked really spooky at first with all the mist in the mountains.

Soon the sun started to shine and we were all at the visitors center.

Daddy had his wellies on and was prepared for the puddles.

There were a lot of wild life areas.

Bee house.

Beautiful views were all around us.

Everyone enjoyed walking through the big puddles!

We had to walk over this old bridge.

Mum, Sam and Ernie in the distance.

Ernie.

Ernie getting in to mischief in the hedges.

We had to stay on our walking strings because it was too dangerous to let the Pawrents wander around unsupervised!

Sam looking through the window.

Mum by the Elan Dam.

Sam (Ernie's Mum) by the Dam.

Me and Dad by the Dam.

Sam and Pete enjoyed the beautiful views.

We all were really tired when walking up the steps to get to the top of the Dam.

Soooooo many steps!!!!

Ernie had to stop for a rest.

Finally up the top.

The view.

Me and Mum do a spot of rock climbing Tee,Hee!

Ernie running after the sheep bounding through the heather.

There were strange stones all over the place.

Did Aliens do these??

Wild Mushrooms were everywhere.

Ernie went for a swim.

Walking back over the bridge.

The river that Ernie swam in.

  2. Frank that was great to go on tour with you. What an interesting place! but that bridge looked a little scary... not sure if I would enter that bridge with my staff on the walking string... they always pull a lot. we have that kind of stones here too, some peeps built them when they make a wish to Merlin or an ole celtic deity :o)

You live in a beautiful country - although it is often quite cold and rainy. My Mommy visited there in mid-September (a hundred years ago, she says) and she said it was quite cool. But - not as cold as Scotland where she encountered SNOW! In September.
